Waterville area resident deprived of thousands in consignment box scam

Kings District RCMP learned of the loss after a man in his 50s reported what is known as a consignment box scam. According to community policing officer Constab. Kelli Gaudet, the fraud involved a phony diplomat from Ghana and gold, diamonds and cash allegedly worth $30 million.
