Two Barrie men face charges in alleged Home Hardware fraud

On June 24, two men allegedly defrauded a Home Hardware in Bradford, Ont. by slight of hand tricks at the cashier’s desk. Later, a second occurrence at a local No Frills grocery store was also linked to the suspects.

Detectives from the South Simcoe Police Service Investigation Bureau were able to identify the suspects.

A 24-year-old man from Toronto and a 30-year-old man also from Toronto were arrested and jointly charged with two counts of theft under $5,000 and one count of fraud under $5,000.
