Suspect in Ottawa killing Jonny Ranger arrested in Thunder Bay

A murder suspect who had evaded police for more than seven months was arrested in Thunder Bay for gun and drug charges. Jonny Ranger was also charged with fraud in 2006 for allegedly skimming credit cards at a gas station.

He was convicted of assault in 2012 and has recent convictions for drug charges and dangerous driving in 2015. He is prime suspect in the Blossom Park double shooting that killed his one-time friend and injured the mother of his child.
