Sundridge woman arrested for fraud involving Fentanyl patches

A Sundridge, Ont. woman has been arrested and charged with fraud under $5,000 last week according to a police news release.

In April 2017, the Almaguin Highlands Criminal Investigation Unit of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received information regarding a resident in Sundridge may be exchanging fraudulent Fentanyl patches for new ones.

Officers investigated the claims leading to the arrest of Janet Carlsen.

The 53-year-old woman is set to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on September 28 in Sundridge.
