Scammers posing as Canada Revenue Agency employees are targeting Castegar, British Columbia residents.

The scam in which fake CRA employees call and threaten people with arrest warrants for payment has hit the B.C. city according to a local news agency.

RCMP say that the CRA would not threaten callers with an arrest warrant and any phone calls or emails looking for personal information or asking for money should be ignored.
