Rocky Mountain House man arrested under multiple charges

On July 14, Red Deer, Alta. RCMP responded to an attempted fraud after a man tried to use and then replace a stolen fleet gas card.

When RCMP arrived to the scene, the suspect fled on foot through the building and out the back door. He was arrested after a brief foot chase with assistance from Police Dog Services.

At the time of his arrest, the suspect was driving a stolen card and was wanted on three outstanding warrants out of Rocky Mountain House, Alta. for two counts of theft and possession of stolen property.

He was wanted on three more warrants out of Red Deer for possession of stolen property, failing to appear in court and failing to comply with conditions.

Ryan Shane Schuster, 28, now currently faces two counts of fraud, one count of identity fraud and possession of stolen property over $5,000.
