Red Deer, Alta. RCMP are looking for public assistance to identify a woman who attempted to defraud a jewellery store using ID and credit cards that had been stolen from a Calgary woman earlier this month.

RCMP were called to a jewellery store after a woman attempted to open a store credit card using a stolen credit card and driver’s licence as her identification. The store staff verified that it was a stolen credit card and contacted the RCMP, at which point the suspect fled the store.

The victim’s purse had been stolen when thieves broke into her locked at a Calgary fitness facility.

RCMP are looking for the public’s assistance to identity the suspect.
