RCMP investigating potential fraud at Burnaby housing co-op

RCMP confirm they are investigating a fraud at the Halston Hills housing co-op in Burnaby, B.C. The investigation is geared towards a member of the co-op’s board of directors.

The board of directors is in charge of paying for expenses from tenant’s rents they collect. The executive director of the Co-op Federation of BC says checks and balances are in place to prevent money from disappearing.
