Police are searching for other possible victims after allegations of a Laval, QC man defrauding a 72-year-old woman through an elaborate scheme.

Christos Avgoulas, 53, was charged with two counts of fraud and two gun possession-related charges last month. Police allege Avgoulas defrauded an elderly woman of more than $40,000 between May and November last year after meeting her in a Montreal animal rescue centre.
