Prairie small businesses need to be more aware of fraud says national accounting firm

A national accounting and consulting firm is advising small businesses in Manitoba and Saskatchewan to take fraud risks seriously after finding that many feel confident in preventing it.

The survey found that 80 per cent of respondents felt confident in preventing fraud, while 40 per cent knew or suspected their businesses had experienced fraud in the past year.
