Police ask for public’s help in locating man wanted in $690,000 fraud

April 8, 2021 – The Ottawa Police Service fraud unit is asking for the public’s help in locating a 57-old man wanted in connection with a scam that defrauded two Ottawa banks of more than $690,000. Police say that in January 2020 the man, who owned as service garage at the time, allegedly used his business bank accounts and credit lines for fraudulent purposes before closing the business.
