Police arrest duo in alleged East York roofing fraud

Toronto police have arrested a man and woman allegedly involved in an East York roofing fraud scam.

Police were looking into several cases of homeowners being defrauded by two people posing as roofers. Since March, five separate cases have been reported.

On Monday, police arrested 41-year-old Kevin Sampson and 35-year-old Aimee Jayne-Ann Cipolla.

The duo faces a total of 26 charges, including fraud, theft, harassment, and failing to comply with probation.
