No jail time for cheque fraud in P.E.I.

March 7, 2021 – A P.E.I. man who fraudulently cashed cheques made out to himself was recently given a suspended sentence and ordered to pay back $1,500. Adam Nicholas Willoughby, 31, appeared before Chief Judge Jeff Lantz in provincial court in Charlottetown where he pleaded guilty to one count of fraud. The Chronicle Herald reports. | READ MORE
