McDougall, Ont. woman receives more than 20 charges in alleged thefts

A 28-year-old woman from the McDougall Township, located in the district of Parry Sound, Ont. was arrested and charged with 10 counts of theft under $5,000, fraud under $5,000 and various other charges after members of the West Parry Sound OPP began a theft investigation regarding gift cards that had been mailed from a local post outlet.

Denni-Lee Smith was charged following an investigation headed by the West Parry Sound OPP with assistance of postal inspectors from Canada Post. The investigation was regarding a number a items that were intended to be sent but never were during November and December of last year.
