Brides and wedding vendors say they want to be paid back thousands of dollars, alleging Arvilene Rodriguez, a Manitoba wedding planner and convicted fraudster, faked invoices, inflated bills and failed to pay subcontractors.

Rodriguez, a wedding planner who owns Blake Audrey Events, was convicted of credit card fraud in both 2006 and 2008. She has an outstanding fraud charge for an incident in December 2011 and fall 2012 for fraud under $5,000.

Engaged couples allege Rodriguez inflated invoices for prices of services and failed to perform duties as a wedding planner.
