March 8, 2021 – A Toronto man and woman are facing fraud charges in what Toronto Police are calling “an elaborate tenant scam” spanning a decade. Last month officers from Toronto Police’s Financial Crimes Unit began a fraud investigation impacting landlords in the Toronto area, involving a man and woman moving into eight different properties under rental agreements since 2010.
