Cybersecurity experts recommend consumers use credit cards over debit cards to protect themselves against fraudulent activity.

This preference largely has to due with the fact that any fraudulent activity on credit cards doesn’t automatically put bank accounts into the red, whereas damage on debit cards is done until the matter is resolved.
