The Ontario Provincial Police in Wellington Country are reporting another case of the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) phone scam.
A 37-year-old woman from Fergus, Ont. was contacted by someone claiming to be from the CRA requesting payment of back taxes with gift cards.
The victim purchased $4,715 worth of cards and provided the activation codes along with her social insurance number.
