Fraud in Edmonton is on the rise – and Edmonton Police Services is hoping that its 13th annual fraud prevention month will help tackle the rising numbers.

EPS reported a 23 per cent increase in fraud from 2015 to 2016; those numbers expecting still to rise despite the province’s recent ban on door-to-door sales of energy-related products.
