Brandon woman accused of fraud after bank withdrawal

A Brandon, MB woman was arrested on Tuesday as result of an ongoing identity theft and fraud investigation.

In April, a 34-year-old woman allegedly used another person’s identification to obtain a bank card and withdraw money from the victim’s bank account.

The suspect was located at the Brandon Correctional Centre where she was already being held on other charges.

The woman was arrested for personation with intent and four counts of fraud under $5,000. She is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
