Bail hearing for Reserve Mines woman on fraud charges

A Reserve Mines, N.S. woman facing multiple fraud charges has been remanded pending the outcome of a bail hearing set for Friday.

Juanita Ann MacNeil, 57, is charged with theft over $5,000, fraud by depositing empty envelopes into a bank ATM, identity fraud by impersonating another person in order to increase the daily withdrawal limit on a bank account and breaching a court order.

MacNeil is also facing eight counts of fraud and eight counts of false pretence that are alleged to have occurred in Sydney, N.S. in April 2012.
