A man charged with practicing witchcraft plead guilty to one count of fraud in a Toronto courtroom on Tuesday.

Murali Muthyalu, 37, allegedly defrauded a man $100,000 after claiming he could heal a sick relative by removing their evil spirits.

Muthyalu is a visitor from India and has been given permission to leave Canada but cannot re-enter for a period of three years.He has also been ordered to pay the victim, Safet Malo, $67,100.
