May 19, 2021 – A Drayton Valley man is to appear in court this week. The Alberta RCMP Serious Crimes Branch, Livestock Investigation Section handled the cattle fraud investigation.

RCMP say the incident relates to a partnership where one individual entered into an agreement to invest more than one-million dollars to buy cattle, feed and equipment from a company. The RCMP investigation found that the calves had been sold contrary to the terms of the agreement and that the complainant had not received any payment. Discover Humboldt reports. | READ MORE
