The former manager of a restaurant in Taber, Alta. is accused of bilking the business out of half a million dollars. After an investigation that began in October 2014, the Taber Police Service determined that $500,000 had been misappropriated from the Oilmen’s Club. A 45-year-old man was arrested on Aug. 12 and charged with theft and fraud. He is set to appear in Taber provincial court on August 30.
